I am spending the last year of my 40's raising money in order to provide 110 little girls in the Andes of Peru that have been deprived of the basic needs that so many of us have been fortunate enough to have in our lives. The Chicuchas Wasi School for Girls is an amazing organization which provides the little girls with care, hope and love and gives them a rare opportunity to get an education and become empowered.
I have decided to create a fundraiser, Feeding Hope, Nourishing Cusco Girls, to celebrate my 50th birthday (Jan 1st, 2018) by giving back to help these girls in my beloved Peru! Currently they get lunch. For some girls, lunch is the ONLY meal they eat all day.
I went to Cusco to meet these beautiful girls and assess their nutrition, help tell their stories, and help them all while building a beautiful relationship with them. I have fallen in love with these angels. They are so amazing, caring, loving and desire a successful life just like everyone else.
My goal is to raise money to provide two nutritious hot meals daily to each girl for the entire year. I would love for the girls to be well-nourished while on their journey.
